Raw 107.9FM aim to bring quality transmissions of urban dance music to those who choose to listen!
 

Raw 107.9FM was conceived in 1999.
"We were pissed off that their was no local radio in the Luton and
surrounding areas catering for our tastes." recalls Torsion,
"I would tune into London pirate stations and think to myself,
that's what Luton needs. We were left with no choice but to hijack the airwaves as others had also expressed a desire for a station that
played underground tunes."
Since their bold move the station has grown impressively building up a
following of listeners throughout the home counties. Raw, is obviously
a much needed source of entertainment for the listeners tuning in.
Who are RawFM?
Raw are a crew of talented individuals made up of Dj's, Emcees,
Music Producers and Promoters with a like minded goal.
Broadcasting at Weekends on 107.9fm and offering wicked upfront
selections of UK Garage, Grime, Drum& Bass, Break beat, House,
Dancehall, Hip Hop and RnB. Raw has gathered together a wide variety
of performers from the already established to the best up and coming
to play for your pleasure.
